Volunteers are a vital part of our organization. We welcome all interested parties to bring a special skill or hobby to our Clubs – anything that will support the positive development of youth. You must be 18 years of age or older to become a volunteer.

Welcome to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana! Our staff consists of a diverse group of highly motivated youth advocates. From Club staff to administration we work together as a team to help build brighter and stronger futures for our youth. Here at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana we encourage professional development and offer advanced trainings though orientations, development trainings, quarterly meetings and coaching and mentoring.
The Hiring Process
We post available positions online. Use the Jobs Posting tab to access specific openings.
After applying for a position, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your application.
You may periodically check the online system for other jobs of interest to you. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, you will not be personally contacted regarding your application.
If you are selected as a candidate, you will be contacted for a telephone and/or in-person interview.
If you are offered a position, you will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process which may include but is not limited to verification of your education and prior work history, a criminal background investigation and drug test. Depending on the position, you may also be required to complete a pre-employment physical.
If you successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, a start date will be determined. Generally, on your first day of employment, you will participate in a new employee orientation program and be required to verify your identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
